Vipingo - V.HOP Prayer House

April 2014 VHOP
The Vipingo house of prayer finally gets its windows installed and all the internal walls plastered; 2 years after digging the foundations, we are nearly there. We have also plastered the external gable walls so we can later signwrite the name of the prayer house outside the building. The doors and the stone floor will follow next. VHOP has been in constant use since opening in October 2013, and the meetings will resume quickly once this work is completed.

The Consecration and Opening of VHOP, 16th Oct 2013
In a special service of consecration, we opened the Vhop house of prayer on the 16th of October. It has taken 2 years since this land was first prayed for to get to this stage, but today has been a day of great celebration of what the Lord has done. There have been many obstacles to overcome in achieving the call to build this very special place, making this a very special day and a great testimony. There is still work to be done; the windows must be fitted, the walls plastered, and the floor all made good, but the prayer house is now officially open.

Built in the shape of a crucifix, the 12-metre prayer house has two rooms at the top for private prayer and deliverance ministry.

The building of VHOP is progressing well; these pictures just from October 2013 show the block work and ring beam now complete, so we are ready to look at the roof and then the floor. After those two jobs are done, we can use the building for ministry, even before the windows and doors are installed. This is very encouraging progress.

The house of prayer in Vipingo village is really taking shape now, October 2013. The team currently meet in small groups; they worship God under such an anointing, interceding for Israel and the nations. They care for the sick, and there are many stories of healing breakthroughs in their ministry. Sometimes people come to a meeting, and such is the power of God on them at that meeting that they will stay a month, and then they leave different. healed, saved, set free. Mission Living Waters is pleased to be able to support them with the building of a good prayer house facility; it’s so exciting to see the growth of this work unfold slowly. We thank God for His provision and leading.

V.HOP house of prayer
In a village called Vipingo, some 60 kilometres south of Malindi, we are building a house of prayer. We acquired the land in December 2011, and building started in spring 2012. As well as being a prayer house for intercession, VHOP will be used to help the needy, and through its existence, many will be helped back to life through healing and the love of Jesus Christ shared by those who will run this facility. Mission Living Waters is pleased to be able to support this initiative. February 2013.
