Our two-wheel drive truck came to a stop daily, blocked by muddy and washed-out roads, sometimes sinking up to its rear axle, as unseasonal rains burst river banks across miles of difficult terrain.
While the trip was physically hard walking for miles most days, we reached many small homes and villages in these remote parts on foot, often taking the gospel to people who really didn’t know much about it, if anything at all. The ministry time we spent with people face-to-face was so valuable. It was amazing to see God move in people’s lives.
